German pig A.I. stations guarantee their efficiency by financing A.I. research and by constantly applying science to their work. Together with pig breeding, gene research is also being sponsered, so that the latest findings in this field can be used. |

In the context of supporting research, preservation by deep freezing and long-term diluents, amongst other things, have been developed. These techniques are used in the storage of gene reserves, export of sperm and storage on the farm for serveral days, e.g. over the weekend. |
Strict hygienic measures and constant veterinary monitoring to the standard of the European Boar Semen Directive 90/429/EEC guarantee a maximum of sanitary safety. |
